Getting Unstuck – Tip #5

When you’re emotionally stuck and deep breathing by itself doesn’t work.

Try this.

Focus on the feeling, the emotion.

Put a name to it, if you can.

Now, intensify the emotion. Make it bigger. Make it stronger.

Really ramp it up!

When it’s at it’s full fury, do this.

Imagine it’s something tangible, something you can physically touch and move.

Now, visualize picking it up and throwing it as far from you as possible.

How’s that feel?

Even if you still have the feeling, you ought to at least feel like you can move.
