KICK FEAR IN THE TEETH: Tip #3

I love asking questions.

They’re so darn useful. And, can be used in so many ways.

Even to help deal with fear. And, to get rid of it.

How?  <–  there’s that question thing again.

When you feel afraid: take a breath, take another, then ask yourself, "What’s behind this fear?"

Often our fears are rooted in past events. Our limbic system may have been scarred by past events and therefore overreact to current events that really aren’t that scary. That’s what happens to trauma survivors — and it can happen to you.

So, use a question, or two, to see if that fear you’re feeling is realistic.

Happy Fear Kicking!
